Ensuring Safety Always Comes First
GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter)...
These items are now a requirement in various locations all homes. They save lives and are relatively inexpensive to install. They should be tested once a month and, some required locations are bathrooms, kitchens, garages, basements, outside, Etc.
Smoke Detectors...
Smoke detectors are a vital part of the life safety equipment you should have in your home. Should one detector be activated all others detectors will sound together. This is now required by the New York State Building code.
CO2 monitors...
Carbon monoxide is a odorless and colorless deadly gas. It can kill a person in less then a minute. Any type of combustion system gives off this gas. All homes should have a least one on every floor, and especially one near any home heating system.
Please make sure you use a licensed Electrician to install and check all your electrical systems.
